This is my maternal grandmother. She probably believed in me more than any other person in my life. She loved me unconditionally and she always believed that I was capable of anything. Unfortunately, she died suddenly of an aneurysm about eight years ago. She still influences my life today because her belief in me made me believe in myself.
This is a picture of my Mom and I. My Mom was my strongest supporter growing up. She worked part-time so that she could always be there everyday when I came from school. She was my Brownie leader and she went to every school play and soccer game. I always knew that she there for me whenever I needed her. My Mom continues to influence me today because I am a strong woman because of her.
Melissa, I am so happy for you to have what appears to be two amazing women influence your life. As well as they seem to be a comfort and motivator for you to pursue your dreams, goals, and aspirations. Keep up the good work.
