"Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning...they have to play with what they know to be true in order to find out more, and then they can use what they learn in new forms of play."

I just wanted to take the time to let you know that your blogs were very interesting to read from the beginning of the class until the end. I was especially interested in how you took the time to add your personal experiences and thoughts to the blog assignments. I think that you will be a great caregiver because it reflects in your thoughts, ideas, and your ability to be creative. I like the way that you are able to organize your thoughts so that they can truly reflect your views, feelings, and ideas. I also like the way that you took the initiative to usually be the first person to create your blogs. Overall I enjoyed reading your blogs.
Melissa,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comments on my blog and discussions in class. I really enjoyed all of your feedback and I am grateful to have worked with you. I know you have nothing but great things in store for you and I look forward to all of my fellow educators making an impact in the lives of children and families.

Melissa,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your insightful blogs. I really enjoyed reading them. I really like the quote you cited by Fred Rogers. I think that children learn their greatest lessons and most thoughtful creations through their play. It was a pleasure having you in this course and I look forward to taking more courses with you in the future. Thanks for your commitment to the Early Childhood Profession.
