I love this quote because I have discovered that even if a child doesn't believe in themselves, if you believe in them and you tell them and show them how much you believe in them, they will succeed.

This quote speaks to me because I have worked with so many students that live in poverty and they require so much love and attention because they aren't getting it at home.

ReplyDeleteMelissa, I Love the quote by Lady Bird Johnson. I'm going to have to put it in my bag of sayings for future use. I've said this with many more words; however, this is simple and well put. It's unfortunate that the lack of expectations stifles so many children who become adults with dwarfed potential, because of the lack of someone believing in them. What we have the opportunity to do in the life of a child is life changing!
